I Closed My Etsy Shop: Here’s Why + What’s Next

If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you probably noticed something quietly changed behind the scenes…

My Etsy shop is gone.

And honestly?

I wasn’t expecting to close it this soon either.

After four years of selling digital templates for real estate agents, I made the decision to step away from Etsy and move into a new chapter of my business—one that feels far more aligned with where I’m headed.

Why I Started Selling Digital Templates

I opened my Etsy shop back in April 2022—before AI started doing everybody’s homework lol

At the time, selling Canva templates (and later Notion + Flodesk templates) made sense for two reasons:

  • It helped me grow my YouTube channel and build my personal brand

  • It showcased my branding and marketing skills so agents could see my work in action

In other words: Etsy was never the “end goal.” It was a strategic part of the bigger vision.

Why I Closed My Etsy Shop

In the beginning, selling templates was honestly really fun. It was so exciting to help real estate agents around the world create branding assets for their business—and seeing agents send me screenshots of what they created using my templates genuinely meant so much to me.

The kind messages, reviews, and support over the years never went unnoticed, and I’ll always be grateful for that season of my business!

But I knew I was eventually going to hit a wall.

Not because the shop wasn’t successful.

Not because I wasn’t grateful for it.

But because it no longer aligned with the direction I truly wanted to take my business.

Running an Etsy shop as a one-woman show became incredibly time-consuming—and every hour spent troubleshooting templates, answering customer messages, and managing the backend of the shop was time being pulled away from:

  • creating YouTube content

  • supporting my business partners at eXp Realty

And truthfully?

Selling templates was never the final destination.

Etsy was just the springboard.

What I’m Focused on Instead

If you have been following my journey for a while, you already know I’m partnered with eXp Realty and part of the Wolf Pack organization.

And over the last few years, I realized the most fulfilling part of my business was never the template sale itself.

It was the conversations. The strategy. Helping agents in general.

Instead of selling templates publicly, I now offer free, exclusive access to my private Template Vault—containing an array of Canva, Notion, and Flodesk resources—as part of the value agents receive when they partner with me at eXp Realty.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to give agents tools.

I want to help agents actually build a personal brand and business that fufills them.

And this shift allows me to be far more intentional with my time, energy, and support so I can do exactly that.

That’s the direction I’m leaning fully into now.

A New Era

Closing my Etsy shop feels bittersweet.

That chapter helped me grow my brand, connect with incredible agents, and build a business I’m proud of.

But this next season feels more aligned. More intentional.

And honestly? More exciting.
